has anybody gotten this to work on bazzite?

I've managed to get it installed via an arch distrobox, says its installed but

./install.sh
Driver (0.9.2) already installed, exiting.

cd gui

sudo -E ./YeetMouseGui
Failed to load plugin: 'libgtk-3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'
YeetMouse directory doesnt exist!
Install the driver first, or check the parameters path.

actually now its:

Hey, if you installed the latest version then you should just use yeetmouse to run the GUI (https://github.com/AndyFilter/YeetMouse?tab=readme-ov-file#starting)

I'm sorry, I might be in over my head here. One of the last reasons I still game on windows is because of rawaccel so I'm trying to replace it. I'm relatively new to linux but I don't mind learning.

When I type in yeetmouse it just says command not found. Is there a specific directory I need to be in or should it be bound to my $PATH variable right after install? sorry for the newbie questions I'm just trying to get it to work and am spinning my wheels

I just noticed you're using an outdated version "Driver (0.9.2) already installed, exiting.". Please uninstall it first sudo ./uninstall in the YeetMouse/ directory. And then follow the installation instructions listed in the Readme: https://github.com/AndyFilter/YeetMouse?tab=readme-ov-file#installation.

There were some issue with the setup yesterday... Everything has been fixed now.
Sorry about that, if you had errors trying to install, get the latest version from the git (again) and try to install one more time.

that may have helped to resync git but, for future bazzite users, it seems that i have to use insmod instead of modprobe to install yeetmouse.ko and i have to redo it after every reboot before sudo ./YeetMouseGui

Hey, I don't know what could be wrong with the Bazzite install. It does look like some systemd issue. But I can't tell from just this description. If you want more help, please consider opening a new issue, and sharing more information there - like the installation logs, sudo dmesg | grep -i yeetmouse output, or other things that might contain useful information (along with the description).
Also, like I said before, you should not have to run the GUI with sudo and from the local directory. After installation it should be copied to /usr/bin/ and started with just yeetmouse (not ./YeetMouseGui).
