ClamAV-GUI can't find ClamAV...

Hi Geeks! I first installed ClamAV-GUI and then downloaded ClamAV from the official site, but ClamAV is not recognizable...neither by Command Prompt & PowerShell, nor by ClamAV-GUI...
Data about my system: I have an ASUS VivoBook X515EP-R565EP with Windows 11 Pro version 25H2 Build 26200.8894.

Thanks for the feedback! Have you tried adding few ClamAV commands to the PATH environment variable?

freshclam: The term 'freshclam' is not recognized as a name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or executable program.
Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

Understandable! This error means that its folder path has not been added to your system's Environment Variables since ClamAV was installed.

To fix this error, make sure to check that the C:\Program Files\ClamAV folder is in the PATH environment variable. If it's not inside the PATH environment variable,

1. Press the Windows Key, type Environment Variables, and hit Enter.
2. Click the Environment Variables... button at the bottom right.
3. Under System variables, select Path and click Edit....Click New and paste your ClamAV folder path (e.g., C:\Program Files\ClamAV).
4. Click OK on all windows to save the changes.
5. Restart your terminal (PowerShell or CMD) for the changes to take effect.

After that, verify that freshclam.conf exists in the C:\Program Files\ClamAV folder, with the config copied from freshclam.conf.sample.

Once all is set, restart the CMD and type freshclam again. Let me know if this helps ;-)

Ok...

Go to C:\Program Files\ClamAV, then locate the conf_examples folder, copy freshclam.conf.sample to the main ClamAV directory, and rename it to freshclam.conf.

After that, try running freshclam again. Let me know if this works

Now try the one I quoted. I think it says that the freshclam config is missing. Let me know if it works after copying the sample config and renaming it to freshclam.config :-)
