gdisk reversal?

I followed the gdisk guide, and would like to completely revert it to update my iOS version. Is it possible to get a guide on reverting the gdisk partitioning stuff?

you could reverse the gdisk operation by first deleting every partition using the d command in gdisk.
then you use the n command to create a new partition
start sector = 6
last sector = default
hex code = AF0A

p to inspect the updated partition table
w to commit the changes

then you need to calculate the size of the apfs container which is: (last_sector - first_sector) * 4096
after that you need to resize apfs, which could be done with ./resize_apfs disk0s1 <size here> and replace the last argument with the calculated size.

So in theory it's safe and won't brick my phone completely? Imean it's an iphone 8 so I still have checkm8 but I don't want to completely destroy iOS on it

erase install will format the entire disk and put latest version of iOS onto it
