Make threadpool opt-in

Since now the architecture of the project is established and extreme cases have been tested we should make the threadpool behaviour opt-in. This would imply a synchronous tick step, that simplifies the framework's job for simpler tasks. Threadpool usage would become recommended for heavy physics usage
