Hello Jigsaw team,
I am an independent developer from Turkey working on a Windows x64 implementation based on the Intra codebase.
I noticed the existing request for Windows x64 support and decided to experiment with a Windows implementation using the existing Intra Go components.
Our current implementation keeps the Intra doh and split components and adds a Windows-specific Go backend and Python-based Windows GUI around them.
The current Windows implementation provides:
- DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH)
- SOCKS5 proxy support
- HTTP/HTTPS proxy support
- TLS/SNI splitting using the
split component
- Windows-specific proxy and network lifecycle management
- A Python/CustomTkinter Windows GUI
The project has been successfully built and tested on Windows x64. We have also tested starting and stopping the protection on a real Windows system and verified that the network connection remains functional after stopping it.
I would like to ask the Jigsaw team:
- Would you be interested in reviewing this Windows implementation?
- Is there an existing Windows implementation or experimental work that we should coordinate with?
- Would you be interested in collaborating on official Windows support in the future?
- Are there any architectural recommendations you would suggest before we continue developing the Windows implementation?
- Are we correctly handling the licensing and attribution requirements for the Intra components that we have reused?
I am happy to provide the complete source code, build instructions, test results, and Windows binaries if the team is interested.
I am not claiming this to be an official Jigsaw Windows release. I would simply like to make sure that the implementation is technically sound, properly licensed, and potentially useful to the Intra project.
