IPCamLapse's previously listed good first issue queue is currently claimed or complete. Issues #7 and #25 are assigned with pull requests under review; #26 and #28 are complete.

The only currently unassigned help wanted task is #34 — Preview retention cleanup before deleting sessions. It is a broader service/storage change, not labeled good first issue. Please recheck the live issue and assignee before starting, then comment with your proposed approach. Read CONTRIBUTING.md for setup, tests, and security guidance; the current newcomer queue is on the repository's Contribute page.

If your interest is camera-event interoperability rather than time-lapse capture, OpenCamInterop has a privacy-bounded fixture contribution path.

Focused pull requests and draft PRs are welcome. We aim to acknowledge new contributions within two business days and review ready pull requests within three business days.
