@malinINCF sent me a few sources relating to citing research software that I think are very useful. Here they are:

• Software citation principles [PeerJ]: from the FORCE11 Software Citation Working Group
• The Software citation implementation working group
• [2012.13117] Nine Best Practices for Research Software Registries and Repositories: A Concise Guide
