Using deepness on point layer

Hey there:)
I have been playing around with Deepness, and I am loving it. I would like to ask whether only models for orthophotos can be run. I am thinking of working on a model that recognizes house structures in neolithic pile dwelling plans of archeological sites from Swiss lakes using segmentation. The data is usually displayed in QGIS using point layers, on which features as dendrochronological dating, wood type and diameter of the piles are represented. Is there any possibility of running such a model in QGIS by using Deepness?

What's an interesting project idea!

Deepness can process any raster layer. As I am not a QGIS expert, I don't know if it is possible to convert the point layer into a raster, process using Deepness, and reformat results into a format useful for you.
