CD-ROM booting does not work

Booting from CD-ROM yields error 003. Verified that it's not a QEMU problem as starting a VM from command line works fine.

Have you tried booting from d?

Tried every boot option possible (i'm aware it does not look like that in the image)

Did you also try other cdrom images?

Tried Windows 98, 95, 2000, none of them booted

Did you use the official ISO files (especially applies to Windows 2000 and XP)?

Most of the ISOs (95-2000) were obtained through WinWorld. XP ISO was obtained on Archive.org

GUYS - i do have the same issue. Workaround: rename your .iso to a shorter filename and avoid special characters.
Plus: i just do get the error when attaching two .isos (Windows + Virtio). When you just attach one cdrom and ignore the second cdrom option. The iso boot DOES work.
