Feature request: TAB complete

Is it possible to get TAB complete, like in the terminal?
It'd make running scripts and stuff from Command Runner a bit more convenient :)

Implemented in 6867e51 and pushed to main.

This adds shell-style autocomplete suggestions to Command Runner:

• executable suggestions for partial command names like >pyth
• path suggestions for arguments like >python ~/Do
• nested ~/... path suggestions without needing an extra keystroke

Also bumped the plugin version to 1.4.0.

This is great. It introduces a small annoyance though. Say I want to just run ls, now I have to scroll through all the autocomplete suggestions that start with ls until I get down to Run: ls. A binding to run what's in the input field as-is would get around this, for example Ctrl+Enter (and Shift+Ctrl+Enter to run in background).

I don't know if this is possible, but when typing >pyth and hitting Tab, I'd expect the input field to autocomplete to >python or whatever is the top autocomplete suggestion. Either that, or go to the next suggestion in the list (and Shift+Tab to go to previous suggestion in the list). But I don't know if that's something you have control over, or if I can bind that myself somewhere.

Anyway, getting the suggestions is a nice improvement, thanks!

That's a fair follow-up.

The autocomplete behavior is doing what it was built to do, but I agree that burying Run: ls under the suggestions is not ideal for short commands.

The most practical next improvement is probably a direct binding to run the raw input as-is, for example:

• Ctrl+Enter to run the current input in a terminal
• Ctrl+Shift+Enter to run the current input in background

Literal Tab / Shift+Tab completion would be nice too, but that may depend on what the launcher exposes for input-level key handling. I'll keep this open as the next enhancement to investigate.

Small follow-up shipped in 547cff8 and pushed to main.

Run: <query> is now prioritized above autocomplete suggestions again, so pressing Enter runs the exact input more naturally for short commands like ls, while still keeping suggestions visible underneath.

The separate idea of true raw-query Ctrl+Enter / Ctrl+Shift+Enter bindings still looks like it would need launcher-level support rather than a plugin-only change.
