What
LICENSE (MIT) and CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md (Contributor Covenant 2.1) have been
added across the repos. CITATION.cff is deliberately not added yet — it
should wait until the DIMS BRM paper is finished and published, so the
preferred-citation block points at the right reference from day one.
When the paper lands
- Add
CITATION.cff with two distinct author lists — authors: (the software)
and preferred-citation.authors: (the paper). They are read separately by
GitHub, Zenodo and reference managers, and are not required to match.
- Mint a Zenodo DOI by connecting the repo and cutting a release, then add the
doi: field. No DOI is invented in the meantime. EnvisionBox does exactly
this (10.5281/zenodo.21900865).
- Verify the author list and ORCIDs with all named authors before publishing.
