While we have tried to have a consistent Makefile scheme, we find that many installations are different enough that it is a losing battle to construct a one-size-fits all Makefile.
We have provided a fairly standard Makefile (modeled after some of NVIDIA's examples) and commented where we have found the most common changes need to be made. Feel free to email the developers or check NVIDIA's CUDA web pages for
more guidance.
As NVIDIA develops better tools for installation and building, we will try to incorporate them into this suite.
