Dataoad is an open-source, local-first Python library and fault harness. The Dataoad Safety plugin is a skills-only instruction bundle: it does not operate a Dataoad-hosted service, create user accounts, or send repository contents to Dataoad.
The plugin may instruct ChatGPT or Codex to inspect files and run local commands when the user requests that work. Those operations remain subject to the permissions, privacy terms, and data controls of the OpenAI product and environment in which the plugin is used. Users should not place secrets, payment credentials, personal data, or sensitive provider payloads in prompts, idempotency keys, metadata, examples, or issue reports.
Dataoad receipts can retain request hashes, idempotency keys, explicit metadata, provider references, and bounded exception messages. Integrators are responsible for ensuring those fields do not contain secrets or data they are not authorized to store.
Public support is provided through GitHub Issues. Anything posted there is public; reports should use sanitized reproductions.
