ivhTreeviewBfs Callback Function

I have run into a number of issues that makes it hard for me to use this service because it doesn't return a promise nor does it allow me to call a callback function when it is done running entirely.

As in when it finishes recursively compiling/linking? What would a use case be?

Edit - sorry, misread the question.

The service just runs synchronously though, right? I'm not sure a promise would be appropriate and if you're not doing async things it's done when your next line executes... Why not e.g. collect promises in your callback?

It is doing async things because I am file reading async and populating the tree. Basically it comes down to it that I have to read through the entire tree, in my function that I supply to the call I don't know where I am in the function and I have to do some cleanup after it is done. I can't chain a promise to ivhTreeviewBfs, nor can I trigger a call back function to run when it is done.

            ivhTreeviewBfs($scope.folder, function(n) {
                if (n.selected === true || n.__ivhTreeviewIndeterminate){
               //  Some Logic to Push this node to an array.  

                }
            });

I good idea is a display on how many nodes are selected in the tree and displaying it.

Do you know how many nodes are in your tree?

var total = 100
var progress = 0
ivhTreeviewBfs($scope.folder, function(n) {
  progress++
  if(progress === total) {
    allDone()
  }
})

Or maybe collect promises.

var promises = []
ivhTreeviewBfs($scope.folder, function(n) {
  promises.push(asyncThing(n))
})
$q.all(n).then(allDone)

Tree is dynamic and can change, I have had problems when nodes are still being added. The problem i have is things can change I just want to know when the while loop in the function completes because I will break out of my own loop and start over.
