v2 final: release date?

Hi,

A while ago I submitted some PRs to enhance the IVH-treeview component, especially this: #81

I remember you mentioned this would be part of the v2, and there has been already some v2-alpha versions.

Do you know when will the final v2 be released?

Hi @christophercr - honestly, we don't have a planned release date for v2 and I don't expect a ton of iVantage time to be dedicated to feature enhancements for this component in the near future. That said, the only other thing I'd really like to get in for a major version bump is updating the default template to be more performant - minimally we should use ng-if to not render collapsed children. Sounds like a small task but it'll break many of our existing unit tests as they depend on non-expanded nodes still being rendered. I'm happy to create an issue for this task and milestone for v2 if you (or anyone else) would like to contribute.

Good to know! I understand... sometimes it is hard to find some extra time apart from your work to maintain a repo, an even harder if the repo is so popular :p
