Pinned comments currently live in the transient inbox ring (in-memory, 200 events, dropped on clear/restart) — right for a live feedback loop, but pins vanish and never render on the board itself.
Future layer deliberately deferred from the v1 spec:
- durable annotation store (persisted like history), keyed by target
- pin badges rendered on the board at the target element; click → the comment
- resolved/open state, maybe threading
