New Apple M5 Ultra promises a memory bandwidth of 1.2 TB and comes with incredible neural engines per core. However, I still believe it won’t match the performance of the same configuration or lower config nvedia workstations like the Dgx Spark or Rtx Spark. My question is, does apple have amazing hardware for AI that rivals nvedia, but only the proper software is holding it back? If we optimize the software enough, can we beat amd and nvedia with apple hardware?
