[Feature Request]: Manhua mode

Describe your suggested feature

• I opened a manhwa with long pages and I can't get the correct default zoom no matter what.
• In vertical reading mode, up/down are disabled, left/right work. Scrolling with the wheel is too tedious.
• "Webtoon reading" — here the scale becomes comfortable and page turning starts working correctly.

Is it possible to automatically enable webtoon mode if the page is significantly taller than the screen / the height is greater than the width by a certain ratio? I've seen this option in some readers, but it doesn't work everywhere.

I think this would be a bit difficult to implement. Currently, OpenComic only reads the dimensions of certain images when opening a file in order to reduce loading times. The number of images analyzed (And which ones are analyzed) depends on the current reading settings and reading progress.

The most I could do would be to detect Webtoon mode based only on those images, but that could be somewhat inconsistent if this images don't happen to meet the condition (If they all met the condition, there would be no problem).

Is there anything else that could be used to detect Webtoon/Manhua automatically? For example, the file name or image name?

i dunno how it supposed to work. Kotatsu forks scale long pages pretty well with auto detection.

I'll try detecting Webtoon/Manhua from these images to automatically apply webtoon mode, let's see how it works.

By the way, if the images look too small in Webtoon mode and you'd like them to appear larger, disable the Do not enlarge more than its original size option, then adjust the horizontal margin to your preferred size.

I've added automatic Webtoon detection fc27a5e. The option can be disabled in the settings (It is enabled by default).

The detection currently uses two methods:

• It checks the file name and its parent folder names to see if any of them contain the word webtoon. (It does not check for manhua, since not all manhua are published in vertical format)
• It checks whether any of the loaded images have an aspect ratio taller than 1:2.

I'm not sure whether I'll keep the second method, as it may be inconsistent even within the same file, due to what I mentioned earlier.

Looks good. I put manga and webtoon at same folder, each one is opened with a proper mode.
