Are you accepting PR collaborators and python version?

I've recently found this repo and while Julia is on my list of languages to learn I've never used it.

1. It looks like this repo hasn't had any updates in two years so I was curious if you were accepting PR's or collaborators.

2. Would there be an example of this algorithm in python that I could look at to get a deep understanding of how the algorithm works?
