Option to pad background for transparent figures

Would it be possible to add a config for bkg padding when looking at transparent figures?

By background padding do you mean the tiled background that image viewers usually have for transparency?

Hah, so I specifically mean not that. I ended up using your extension while trying to find a viewer alternative to the default one that would not show this. That works but I was wondering if instead of displaying the transparent image over whatever background color is used in vscode by default, it could be possible display it over a white background for example.
