What's the license of this project?

Love this game, and I am teaching kids to code, instead of building one from scratch, I want to use this one, but probably need to fork it and do some change of the source code, am I allowed to do so?

Thanks! Absolutely. The art is all free for personal or commercial use, the custom code is all MIT licensed, and Crafty (the underlying engine) is open-source licensed as well, though I don't know what their current license is. Feel free to clone and customize to your heart's content.
