Responded 200.
Database connected successfully.
Auth logic ready.
Finally shipped.
Two weeks later, the company found its database exposed. What could be the reason? Because the AI-generated snippet included hardcoded credentials that were pasted without review.
The code ran.
But security didn't.
AI doesn't carry responsibility; developers do. Backend code isn't just about functionality. It's trust, privacy, and real user data. Never outsource accountability. One careless paste can undo months of work. Review every line like it's protecting someone, because it is.
