Fvim takes over half a minute to start the first time on my Windows PC. Once it's been started once, it's fast from then on.
Even when I'm not running anything else and have plenty of CPU/memory available, it is very slow the first time (around 25-30 seconds).
I'm not really sure how to debug this issue, or what kind of information you would need. It's somewhat of a minor inconvenience since it's only the first start-up, but it would be nice if it could be improved.
