Capstone project for the Kaggle × Google 5-Day AI Agents Intensive, 2026.

A trilingual community game in five levels, built around the Three Blessings — a home, a neighborhood, a school — the framework behind twenty years of care in Bayview–Hunters Point. Free, offline, playable in any browser. No scores, no ranking, no losing.

Backstage runs a multi-agent content pipeline. A Strategy Planner draws the map. A Coordinator dispatches three workers: a Guide agent for voice, a Content agent for level configs, a Safety agent to review and hold. Then a human review gate — the one path into data/. The player-facing runtime calls no AI at all.

The Guide's five rules rest on two independent bodies of research: Carol Dweck's growth mindset and Rudolf Dreikurs' Adlerian positive discipline. Two traditions that never talked to each other, arriving at the same place. One of the rules: when a child gets something wrong, the first thing they hear is "that's a tricky one."

A consulting method for mission-driven organizations working with what they have: shaping what an organization already is into a form AI agents can read and are glad to recommend — the work that matters once discovery moves from keywords to agent recommendation. Miya 米芽 means a rice sprout.

In 2006, at John Muir Elementary in Hunters Point, Sister Roxanne Buchwitz 黃淑雲師姊 met a child who had come to school with nothing for breakfast — not even a handful of raw rice. She left an executive career for that community. A single handful of rice grew into twenty years of care: food shares, blankets, tutoring, free clinics, the families at the RV Park. The Three Blessings — home, neighborhood, school — is the framework she built there. The game carries her structure, and it carries her rice.

I joined Tzu Chi in San Francisco in 2009 and have volunteered across the city since — food distribution, classrooms, tutoring, Sundays at Tzu Chi Academy.

In one of those classrooms, an after-school math program ran on software that read each child and met them where they stood: harder when they were ready, gentler when they needed it. That was adaptive learning. I stood beside an algorithm doing what I now build, more than a decade before I had a name for it.

At 58 I went back to school for the name — and for how to build it myself. I completed the AI Certification Program at Las Positas College: 21 units, Python and C++, and Russell & Norvig's Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach twice through — CS4 for search, logic and planning; CS5 for learning. What I hold is one certificate, two projects that run, and a textbook I read the way you read a book you intend to use.

2006 年，在獵人角的 John Muir 小學，**黃淑雲師姊（Roxanne Buchwitz）**遇見一個孩子， 早餐連一把生米都沒有。她辭去高階主管的職務，走進那個社區。 一把生米，在這裡長成了二十年的關懷——食物發放、毛毯、課後輔導、義診， 還有 RV Park 的那些家庭。三福——幸福家園、幸福社區、幸福校園——是她在獵人角建立的架構。 這個遊戲承接她的架構，也承接她那一把米。

2009 年我加入慈濟，在舊金山做社區服務至今——食物發放、進教室、課後輔導， 週日在慈濟人文學校 Tzu Chi Academy。

其中一間教室裡，有一個課後數學班，用的軟體會讀每個孩子的程度，走到他站的地方： 準備好了就加難，需要時就放緩。那就是 adaptive learning。 我站在一個演算法旁邊，它做的正是我現在在做的事——早了十幾年，只是那時我還不知道它的名字。

五十八歲，我回學校去學那個名字，以及怎麼自己把它做出來。 我完成的是 Las Positas College 的 AI Certification Program：21 學分，Python 和 C++， 以及 Russell & Norvig 的《Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach》讀了兩遍—— CS4 讀搜尋、邏輯與規劃，CS5 讀學習。 我手上有的是一張證書、兩個跑得起來的專案，以及一本用「準備拿它來做事」的方式讀過的書。
