Hey, thanks for merging my contributions and publishing 4.1.1!
While assessing the upgrade just now, I noticed that commit 76dacac raises the LinkKit library’s deployment target from iOS 12.0 to 18.0 for Xcode 27 compatibility. The released device library also reports a minimum OS version of 18.0. which seems like a big jump?
Was dropping support for iOS 12–17 intentional in this patch release? Our app supports iOS 17.6, and we cannot raise that minimum, so this currently prevents us from adopting the official binary.
Does the updated library require iOS 18 APIs, or is this solely a build-toolchain constraint? Could you provide a build preserving support for earlier iOS versions?
Thanks again for the fixes!
