Progress keeps getting lost

I do the following:

• start a flashcards test
• answer 2 or more questions
• rotate my phone to landscape
• rotate my phone back to portrait
• I'm back to question 1

I shouldn't be back to the first question. I should be in the question number I reached. Else all my progress keeps getting lost
