The column-wrapper.component.ts was attempting to access the offsetHeight of the clark-message .wrapper element synchronously within ngOnInit. However, because this.messageBar was set asynchronously, the clark-message component had not yet been rendered by Angular, causing document.querySelector to return null.

Solution:

1. Moved DOM access: The logic for calculating columnOffset and columnHeight (which involves querying the DOM for clark-message .wrapper) has been moved from ngOnInit to ngAfterViewInit.
2. Deferred execution: The DOM query and calculation within ngAfterViewInit are now wrapped in a setTimeout(() => { ... }) to ensure Angular has completed its rendering cycle and the clark-message element is present in the DOM.
3. Null safety: Added optional chaining (?.offsetHeight ?? 0) to the document.querySelector("clark-message .wrapper") call to gracefully handle cases where the element might still be absent or null, preventing future TypeErrors.
