.gwei & .eth Name Renewal

A tiny web page for renewing Ethereum names. Connect your browser wallet, type a name, renew it. Nothing else.

What it supports

  • .gwei names (gwei.domains) — renew one or many years in a single transaction.
  • .eth names (ENS) — pay to extend a registration. Anyone can renew any name, not just the owner.
  • .eth subnames — extend a wrapped subname's expiry for free via Dark Florist's OpenRenewalManager.

Ethereum mainnet only.

Why you might care

  • Minimal. The whole app is a handful of small, readable files. No frameworks, no bundler, no heavy Ethereum libraries.
  • Auditable. The only third-party code shipped to your browser is three small vendored files from Paul Miller's @noble/hashes. Everything else is in this repository and is written to be read.
  • Self-reliant. The page talks only to your own wallet. It works even in heavily censored environments — block explorer external links are optional.

Run it

bun install && bun run vendor && bun run build
bun run serve

After building, the app/ folder is self-contained and can be served by any static file server (e.g., IPFS).

If you want to know more, read the code — it is short on purpose.
