Hidden Alchemy — Community
Status: active — a community-facing document repository that is part of the
org's live infrastructure. Last reviewed: 2026-09-07.
The Hidden Alchemy organization is an open engineering laboratory for
transforming raw ideas into real systems:
IDEA → CONCEPT → ARCHITECTURE → SYSTEM → AUTOMATION → REALITY.
This repository is the community-facing home for the parts of the org that are documentation rather than code — the governance summary, the recognition log, and the membership-interest intake form.
This is:
- The canonical summary of how decisions, ownership, and membership work here.
- The recognition log: RECOGNITION.md, a plain chronological record of first-time contributors and notable sustained contributions.
- The home of the Membership Interest form.
- One suggested place for Discussions (enabled on this repo) — the org's "community" surface.
This is NOT:
- A code repository. No code lives here.
- The source of truth for governance rules — those live in the org's
GOVERNANCE.md (this repo only links to it; see
GOVERNANCE.mdin this repo for the pointer). - The place to file bugs or feature requests (use the relevant project repo).
- An idea-intake channel (that is the
ideasrepo).
Governance details live in the org's canonical GOVERNANCE.md — this repository holds only a one-page pointer: GOVERNANCE.md.
Membership at a glance: contributing publicly never requires membership; membership is earned through contribution, not requested on demand — see the Membership Interest form and the canonical governance file for the full review bar.
This is a documentation repo, so contribution is documentation-first: corrections, clarifications, or new plain-language summaries of org rules. The org-wide process in CONTRIBUTING.md applies — small doc fixes need no pre-approval; open a PR directly.
