Other than that, you don't need anything else. ** Usage This describes the general usage of Carpool. For clarity, =carpool= will refer to the executable in the following examples *** Supervisor Daemon Management _Starting and stopping_ #+BEGIN_SRC sh :exports code carpool -start carpool -stop # NOTE: if the -log_level flag is used # with -start, the log level will be # set for the supervisor daemon as well carpool -log_level=FINE -start #+END_SRC _Status_ #+BEGIN_SRC sh :exports code carpool -status #+END_SRC *** Service Management *NOTE:* the daemon must be started to use these _Adding and removing_ #+BEGIN_SRC sh :exports code carpool -add_service="./some-executable --args" carpool -remove_service=<pid> #+END_SRC _Listing_ #+BEGIN_SRC sh :exports code carpool -list_services #+END_SRC *** Configuration Configuration is done via flags in the CLI's arguments. - =-port= (default =1099=) -- specifies the port of the RMI registry - =-log_directory= (default =./logs/=) -- specifies the directory to place logs in - =-log_level= (default =Level.INFO=) -- specifies the logging level - Will apply to the supervisor as well if used with =-start= ** Building and contributing IntelliJ IDEA is recommended, but use what works for you. Gradle is used for building -- use the build task to compile and the jar task to make a JAR.
