This draft makes MCP and System Prompt bindings follow their selected version and aligns runtime content, credential declarations, installed metadata and API validation.
Do not merge. Three independent blind reviews exposed unresolved boundaries: latest can change an OAuth connector while retaining a credential bound for the previous connector, and upgrade inherits configuration that the current validator treats as newly submitted. The selected version’s source provenance and inherited-configuration validation need a consistent design before this change is safe.
Scope remains version selection and its existing credential rules. No schema, credential-policy or runtime-process redesign is approved in this draft. The candidate is deferred while independent issues continue.
