We put Odoo in place for companies and for Belgian public administrations, and we keep it running afterwards. Partner in Belgium since 2009, implementing since Odoo version 5.

Accounting, logistics and manufacturing, made-to-measure products, project and site-based business, banking and electronic invoicing, and our own platform for local government. Most of that does not live on GitHub. What is here is the part we open sourced.

Bank statements that arrive on their own, payment files that go out, and reconciliation that stops being a job someone does by hand every Monday.

Across much of Europe that runs on a banking standard called EBICS, and the module connecting Odoo to it is ours. We wrote it, we maintain it, and we have kept it working on every version of Odoo since version 8. It is used with banks in Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

account_ebics is that module, with the pieces around it: scheduled imports, batch payments, and payment orders.

odoo-text-elements adds personalised text blocks to quotations, invoices and purchase orders.

Setting this up, and the Odoo implementation around it, is what we do for a living.

• Finance and accounting. Statutory books country by country, and the bank connections behind them. We keep Belgian, French and German accounts in Odoo, and adding a country is a known exercise for us.
• Logistics and manufacturing. Stock that matches the shelf, and production that receives what was sold.
• Made-to-measure products. Configurators, production that starts at the order rather than the forecast, margins tracked per job.
• Project and site-based business. Hours, materials and margin recorded against the job, visible while it is still running.
• Ordo. Our own platform, built on Odoo for Belgian municipalities, provinces and regions. It manages public assets and the work carried out on them: what you own, what you maintain, what you are required to inspect, and what all of it costs.
