Summary

Prepares the 1.0.4 patch release and brings the release setup in line with sharp-louis and notika-windows.

Versioning via GitVersion

  • GitVersion.MsBuild (dev-only) plus GitVersion.yml, copied from sharp-louis: ManualDeployment mode, v/V tag prefix.
  • release.yml no longer has the "Resolve version from tag" step or any -p:Version; GitVersion resolves the version inside MSBuild.
  • dotnet.yml checks out full history (fetch-depth: 0) on all three OSes, because GitVersion needs tags and fails on shallow clones.

Single-step publishing

  • release.yml comments now describe the flow as fully automatic once the tag is pushed.
  • The matching settings change is already applied: the nuget environment no longer has a required reviewer. Its v* tag restriction is unchanged, and the environment must stay because the nuget.org trusted-publishing policy pins it.

SQLite dependency cleanup

  • 1.0.3 deliberately removed the explicit SQLitePCLRaw.bundle_e_sqlite3 reference, but Dependabot PR Deps: Bump SQLitePCLRaw.bundle_e_sqlite3 from 3.0.2 to 3.0.3 #89 (opened before 1.0.3, merged after) re-added it, and Deps: Bump SQLitePCLRaw.bundle_e_sqlite3 from 3.0.3 to 3.0.5 #115 bumped it to 3.0.5.
  • That reference pulled in a second native SQLite package, SQLite 3.53.4. Its e_sqlite3.dll, libe_sqlite3.so and libe_sqlite3.dylib have the same names as the files in SourceGear.sqlite3 3.53.3, which sqlite-net-pcl already brings. So which native library ended up in the output depended on build order.
  • The reference is removed again, with a csproj comment explaining why so it doesn't come back. The dependency graph is back to 1.0.3's: sqlite-net-pcl 1.11.285, SQLitePCLRaw.core/provider.e_sqlite3 3.0.3, SourceGear.sqlite3 3.53.3.

Verification

  • dotnet build: 0 warnings (warnings are errors in the library)
  • dotnet format --verify-no-changes: clean
  • dotnet test: 819 passed, 130 skipped (integration), 0 failed
  • Test output now carries only SourceGear's e_sqlite3.dll, and deps.json lists only SourceGear.sqlite3
  • With a temporary local v1.0.4 tag (deleted afterwards, never pushed), dotnet pack produced Oire.SharpSync.1.0.4.nupkg both on master and from a detached HEAD, as in CI. sharp-louis, which uses the same config, has released v2.0.0 through v3.0.0 with matching package versions.

After merge

Push an annotated v1.0.4 tag on the merge commit. release.yml then publishes to nuget.org and creates the GitHub release with no further confirmation, and nuget.org versions are immutable.

- Derive the package version from git tags with GitVersion.MsBuild
(GitVersion.yml, ManualDeployment), as in sharp-louis and
notika-windows. release.yml no longer computes the version from the
tag with a regex, and CI checks out full history because GitVersion
needs tags and fails on shallow clones.
- The release workflow now publishes without a manual approval step;
the nuget environment keeps only its v* tag restriction.
- Remove the SQLitePCLRaw.bundle_e_sqlite3 reference that a stale
Dependabot PR re-added after 1.0.3. It pulled in a second native
SQLite package (SQLite 3.53.4) whose e_sqlite3 files collide with
the SourceGear.sqlite3 library that sqlite-net-pcl already brings.
- CHANGELOG: 1.0.4 section and missing version links.
- CLAUDE.md: dependency list and release process.
