Current Projects

• CoordQ (2026-2030) aims to:
  • Coordinated TSO–DSO framework for reactive power to cut losses and improve stability.
  • Fleet controllers integrating hydro, wind, solar, batteries, and voltage devices.
  • Validation via scenarios, and digital twins with strong cybersecurity.
  • Fair pricing models and guidelines to enable market participation
• FMIHydro - Development of FMI based models of Hydropower System components.
• OpenHPL - open-source hydropower library that consists of hydropower unit models and is modelled using Modelica.

Previous Projects

• SysOpt (2022-2025) This project aims to optimize the interface between power producers and grid owner by developing more efficient system services, thus ensuring operational security of the future energy system.
