By day I design and run large-scale distributed data pipelines — streaming and batch, on Kubernetes, in the cloud. Outside of that I build my own tools, most recently a desktop IDE for working across many remote machines at once.

9+ years building and running production data platforms — real-time and batch pipelines, large-scale migrations to the cloud, and the AI/ML data models built on top of them. These days that means Spark/PySpark, Kafka, Airflow, and Kubernetes, mostly on AWS.
