This repository was public with no LICENSE file, which means no grant of rights: readers could see the source but had no permission to use, modify or redistribute it. That is the worst combination available here, since the project also ships Cosign-signed release binaries with an SBOM — verifiable provenance for artifacts nobody was licensed to use.
