for the testing framework choice, I'd suggest Playwright over Cypress for the E2E layer. Playwright has better multi-browser support out of the box and the auto-wait mechanism reduces flaky tests significantly compared to Cypress's implicit waiting. for the responsive testing across devices, use Playwright's built-in device descriptors (devices['iPhone 12'], devices['Pixel 5']) rather than manually setting viewport sizes since they also set userAgent and deviceScaleFactor which affects how some CSS and JS behaves. for accessibility testing, integrate axe-playwright and run it after each page navigation in your E2E tests rather than as a separate suite. that way accessibility regressions get caught as part of the normal flow testing. the 80% coverage target is reasonable for a first pass, but make sure you're measuring meaningful coverage (branch coverage) not just line coverage, since line coverage can be misleadingly high with simple component renders.
