docker push: denied: requested access to the resource is denied

I get the message: denied: requested access to the resource is denied when trying to push images to the registry.
I am using the following compose configuration: https://github.com/SUSE/Portus/blob/master/examples/compose/docker-compose.yml
I didn't change anything in there, except the secrets
