I'm Samson Mercier, a third-year PhD student at MIT. I am part of the Disruptive Planets group, led by Prof. Julien de Wit.
- I'm interested in using and improving techniques for mapping stars ✨ and planets 🪐
- I help maintain and develop open-source code such as ANTARESS, a high-resolution spectroscopy toolblox 🪛, and SAJAX, a package for modelling and inference of active star surface maps from light curves
- I also participate in the operation of the SPECULOOS telescopes 🔭
