Project made by Simon Grondin, Andrei Balaban, Umba Lubemlele Last updated in December 2025. It's an university project where the scope is to connect people around campus, either in a friendly manner or in a more "dating"-like manner. We have worked with Firebase to design most of our backend and this project, for now is in an MVP/Alpha stage, thus many features are due to change evenutally.

This is the program andrei worked on, this version is the most flawed and only served as a basis for testing and experimenting features we need for the mvp. It is riddled with bugs and issues and the code is not quite as optimized as the following ones. Prototype 2 takes it from this version of the app's interface and logic so it does retain a certain amount of bugs but overall prototype 2 is still a massive improvement because of the login screen implemented in it which changes the whole aesthetic of the app as well as the name change and a proper UI that somewhat close to industry standard.

This is where the app starts, the user is placed on the main page of the app where they must decided whether they want to chat with random Bishop's University student or finds friends/dating through a feed of cards. We realized these labels are rather misleading and dont convey the information we want the user to get from it. For project
