input configurator tosses items on the ground instead of moving configuration to a new machine

i right clicked a concrete generator with the input configurator. it removed all the sand and gravel from the left side and threw it on the ground. then shift right clicking another generator did nothing.

items to not be tossed on the ground and move over as the lore shows.

I tested the input configurator and it seems to work correctly. It looks like you did the steps in the reverse order. First, shift-right click with it on the source machine and then right-click on the target machine where you want to paste the configuration.
