Goal

Decide and document what to do with the tracked .claude/ folder (Claude Code skills).

Context

.claude/ is currently tracked in git — a deliberate keep decision, not a leak. This issue is to make that decision explicit and documented.

Options

• Keep + document (recommended): add a one-line README note that these are optional Claude Code skills for contributors.
• Gitignore it: remove from tracking if the team prefers not to ship editor tooling.

Acceptance criteria

• Decision recorded
• If kept: one-line note in README explaining .claude/
• If removed: .claude/ added to .gitignore and untracked
