This repository contains a Spring Boot application that tracks the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The application displays real-time data on the number of confirmed cases, deaths, and recoveries for different countries and regions. The data is obtained from the Johns Hopkins CSSE repository via the NovelCOVID API.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.
Java 8 or higher Maven An IDE (such as IntelliJ IDEA)
Clone the repository to your local machine: git clone https://github.com/abdullahbakis/coronavirus-tracker.git Import the project into your IDE as a Maven project.
Run the project as a Spring Boot application.
Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080 to access the application.
Use the dropdown menu to select a country or region to view the data for. The data will be displayed in a table and on a map.
