[Question] How to preview .dot files in VS2022

Hi,

It would be nice to have some sort of simple manual.

I have installed the extension, I can see the GraphvizVS options, I was able to use Export Graph function from Build menu but not sure how do I preview the graph in VS 2022.

Graph Preview pane does not show anything...

Hi, yeah you are not the one who had this issue...
To preview the graph you first need to have the preview panel open (I think you already did that) and then you need to SAVE the document (ctrl + s or the button for saving) and then it should appear.

I also cant get to see preview. I dont have the option there the same way I've it for MD documents for example.

The issue starter has probably found it by now, but for anyone having the same problem (how to open the preview window):

The command to show the preview window is:
View > Graph Preview Window (View.GraphPreviewWindow, if you want to assign a keyboard shortcut)
It should be in the View main menu upon installation of the extension. (At least it was in my case.)

Likewise, the command to export the currently edited graph is (not surprisingly :o):
Build > Export Graph (Build.ExportGraph)
It should be in the Build main menu.
