Disc detection and reload TOC

Most of the time when I reconnect my MZ-RH1 with a disc already inside, it fails to detect it in EWMD. Even when I exit the app and launch it again, it will still display "no disc". Can the disc detection be forced, by keeping the menu item "Reload TOC" available at all times? I don't know if that would fix the issue and this is caused somewhere further down the line.

@BeFresh78 Is this in HiMD mode, or standard MD?

This is with Hi-MD's and sometimes it helps to unplug the device, load a regular minidisc, unplug the cable again, plug in the cable, insert a Hi-MD, click connect (full) but then it will say "connection failed" which is an indicator it will now work when I retry a couple of times, until it finally will load the Hi-MD TOC.
