Review calculation of acceleration metric

• 1. Look at the way we currently calculate the acceleration metric.
• 2. Compile some research (e.g. look at how other term importance metrics are calculated, perhaps).
• 3. Determine whether it would be worthwhile to improve the calculation and create issue(s) if necessary.
