For vcpkg, it is much more common to use HTTPS for public registries. Accessing them via SSH isn't always possible, as it requires a key pre-installed.


This is one of the few repos that named the submodule "vcpkg", instead based on the folder. I changed it, but it could be annoying for developers that already have the submodules checked out. I am also more then fine by reverting that part, at the cost of consistency between repos.

Full disclosure: I am employed by Fenris Creations, although I have no involvement with the Carbon project. I work on this in my free time under my own name.
