The benchmark README's setup instructions cloned
Aider-AI/polyglot-benchmark, which has nocat.yamlfiles — sobenchmark.pyreports "Found 0 cats" — and the natural fallback,benchmark_classic.py, predates the async Coder API and fails on every case. Per the maintainer's guidance in #608, this documents the intended path:ORG=Aider-AI / REPO=aiderclone variables now point atcecli-dev/cecli.cat.yamlmetadata, per-test selection, deterministic subsets via--hash-re).benchmark_classic.pyis marked deprecated under Limitations.--exercises-dir cecli-cats.Docs-only change. Verified against a working setup: with these instructions (plus the code fixes from the remaining items of #608, coming as separate PRs), full 225-case benchmark runs complete cleanly.
