Addresses item 1 of #608.

The benchmark README's setup instructions cloned Aider-AI/polyglot-benchmark, which has no cat.yaml files — so benchmark.py reports "Found 0 cats" — and the natural fallback, benchmark_classic.py, predates the async Coder API and fails on every case. Per the maintainer's guidance in #608, this documents the intended path:

  • Setup now clones ErichBSchulz/cecli-cats as the canonical exercises source, and the stale ORG=Aider-AI / REPO=aider clone variables now point at cecli-dev/cecli.
  • The Background section gains a short paragraph explaining the Cats structure (cat.yaml metadata, per-test selection, deterministic subsets via --hash-re).
  • benchmark_classic.py is marked deprecated under Limitations.
  • Example run commands updated to --exercises-dir cecli-cats.

Docs-only change. Verified against a working setup: with these instructions (plus the code fixes from the remaining items of #608, coming as separate PRs), full 225-case benchmark runs complete cleanly.

Edited with cecli itself (gemma4:31b via Ollama Cloud).
