Post-process filtering cursor treatment

2. Move cursor far down
3. Start to filter
4. Result is shorter than cursor and it doesn't move to the end

Should be 2 cursor states, ideal and nominal. Move nominal cursor to end in this case. Restore to ideal whenever possible. Make ideal nominal if changed relative to nominal.
