…ble ranges, course trust floor Field test 2026-07-21 resolved open question #1: clock-face beats left/right prose. clockHour/clockFacePhrase map a relative bearing to 30-degree hour sectors; voiceLine's milestone and bearing-change lines now speak clock-face, and a new 'periodic' event carries the minute-cadence range + direction line (range-only whenever the bearing isn't honestly usable). SPEAKABLE_DISTANCES + speakableDistanceMetres give the periodic line an enumerable vocabulary so every line is pre-bakeable as an offline clip. RADAR.periodicVoiceSec (60 s) and RADAR.courseMinSpeedMps (1 m/s — a Doppler course below this is a stationary artefact; consuming it froze the pointer when the phone was set down) are the new tuning constants for the controllers.
